Principal's Message
Government Graduate College is a prestigious institution of tehsil Bhalwal known as California of Pakistan for its citrus orchards and fertile land. Young generations of the area are mentally as fertile as the soil is. The college provides opportunities to the talented sons of the soils to exhibit their talent in the field of education and ethics. Our main mission is to groom the young generation by polishing their natural facilities and tendencies and enabling them to face the challenges of life. We can run shoulder to shoulder with developed countries by equipping our youth with the best modern tools. i.e. education, IT scientific awareness. History
Government Graduate College Bhalwal was stablished in 1964 as a municipal inter College, upgraded to degree level in 1967 and provincialized in 1974. In the beginning, the classes were started in the building of municipal committee. It was shifted to present building in 1967 having a total area of 19 acres with covered area of 65289 square feet.
This College is situated at one-and-a-half-kilometer distance from the city at Sargodha Gujarat Road. The college owns a purpose-built building that consists of administrative offices, classrooms, staff rooms, science laboratories, library, mosque and computer lab. The college environment is fascinating due to its lush green lawns, playgrounds and cleanliness. This college is affiliated with the Board of intermediate and Secondary Education Sargodha for inter classes. The College started BS Classes in 2019 affiliated with University of Sargodha. The College going to start I.Com in this academic year. The students show good academic results and win distinctions in co-curricular activities. The college is famous for athletics and other outdoor games. The majority of teaching staff is PhD or M.Phil. The college offers BS programs in the subjects of English, Urdu, Mathematics, Islamic Studies and Political Science for girls and boys. This college, being the biggest college of the area, attracts the attention of the students and has been the center of the education and civilization since its establishment.
Development of its infrastructure and conducive educational environment is given prime attention and projects in this regard are undertaken every year. Therefore, the college enjoys good fame throughout the tehsil.
